We envision a future where the Acadians throughout Nova Scotia have a better quality of life through their co-operative work.

Our Mission

Le Conseil Coopératif Acadien de la Nouvelle-Écosse’s mission is to promote co-operative development through Francophone and Acadian communities throughout Nova Scotia.

Our Mandate

1. Providing information services, consultation, coordination and training to co-operatives.

2. Co-ordinate the co-operative marketing and promotional plan.

3. Establish co-operatives that address social and economic needs.

4. Support initiatives that promote the development of the region.

5. Act as spokesperson for the francophone co-operative movement in Nova Scotia.

6. Recommend policies to government.

7. Undertake research projects.

8. Recruit co-operatives from all Acadian regions of Nova Scotia.

9. Work in collaboration with the English co-operative movement in the province.

Our Values

The following values guide Le Conseil Coopératif Acadien de la Nouvelle-Écosse in its decisions and actions:
